EQ - How do I use columns to create a newsletter?
1. Access any major news network's website (New York TImes, Washington Post, ABCnews.com, MSNBC.com, etc.)
2. Choose an article depicting the news about Osama Bin Laden
3. Summarize the article in writing (Tell what happened, in order, in your own words, without opinion)
4. Analyze the article in writing (What do you think this means for the U.S., the world, and you as a world citizen?)
5. Use your understanding of the Ribbon and find the Columns Command
6. Format your summary and analysis using 2 columns with a line between
7. Insert images to enhance the content of your newsletter
8. Save As: Newsletter
*Note* Use what you learned when creating a brochure to assist you.

- Choose a charity or community group (Local, National, or International). Create a Sales Proposal to convince others to donate to the charity or the cause. Use the key components of Chapter 4 as creatively as possible. (Bonus Points will be awarded to those who choose Option 2)

Class Monday & Wednesday (Substitute)
EQ – How do I create a document with a document with a Title Page, Table, Chart, and Watermark?
1. Open Advanced Textbook (Yellowish cover) to page 291.
2. Review the key learning elements for Chapter 4.
3. Flip to page WD 226 and read the introduction and the project description.
4. Preview Figure 4-1 on page WD227. This should match your final project.
5. Complete pages WD228-WD290
6. Save As: Chapter 4
7. Review the Chapter Summary (WD 291) and create a study guide to remind you how to complete each process learned throughout Chapter 4
**Please complete community reading immediately following lunch** (One student may pick up the Wall Street Journal Newspapers from the office)
